Wow, another great trip for the members of the BCSC Fishing Club. 10 members braved the windy conditions. Unlike some last trips to Eagle Nest, the fishing was so good, most members fished all 3 days there. Several ventured over to the Gravel Pit and were successful fishing there as well. Dinner in the dark saloon was interesting on Monday. I think the highlight was the group cookout on Tuesday. About 10 fish were cooked, along with hamburgers, hotdogs, fried rice, and fish tacos! If you went to bed hungry, it was your own fault.
Mildred caught her personal best (PB) trout, a 20.25" beauty. Bernie brought in a 19.5" trout, Steve Miller caught a 19" trout, and Harold was killing it on Wednesday with double hookups! Most of the fish were true fat fighters ranging in size from 12-17". A total of 137 fish were caught this trip, most were released back for the next fishing trip!
